Fixed and Temporary Anchors and Lifelines : Installation and Inspection

Install and check your anchors and lifelines to improve your safety at height.

  • Know the regulations and equipment for installing anchors and lifelines
  • Understand the concepts of equipment strength
  • Know how to install a mechanical anchor on different supports
  • Install a fixed and/or temporary anchor and lifeline
  • Check your anchors and lifeline before use
  • Move along a lifeline
  • Understand and use an anchor testing device

Operating procedure and installation plan for fitting and verification
Supports/tools and installation configurations
Install an anchor and/or fixed and temporary lifeline
Inspection of an anchorage and lifeline
Record the installation (DOE) and the results of the periodic inspection
Storage of anchors and temporary lifelines

Validity : 3 years
Training duration : 14 hours: (Theory: 3 hours - Practical: 11 hours)
Certification : Certificate of completion and skills
Recommended refresher training : 3 years
