Personal and collective protective equipment

The concept of anchoring, simple knots, knots to use

Fall factor, impact force, air draft

Fall arrest systems according to the type of structure

Pylons: Specific features of pylon-specific fall arrest systems (Söll, Cabloc)

Anchors: mechanical, chemical, permanent and temporary

Installation of an anchor and a temporary lifeline

Is training required for working at height?
Yes, French law requires anyone who is due to work at height to receive appropriate training for the tasks they will be carrying out.
Can HTC Techniques Verticales train my staff at my company?
Yes, our teams travel to client sites in France and abroad.
Do I need to provide my own PPE for the training?
No, PPE is provided by HTC Techniques Verticales to all trainees.
I need to have a medical examination before the working at height training?
No, you must be physically and mentally fit and will sign a medical declaration of good health on arrival at the training course.
How long is my initial working at height training valid for?
Although the law does not stipulate a specific frequency for refresher training, it is strongly recommended that you undertake refresher training every 3 years and/or as often as necessary.
